Feeling yucky but excited about a present to make him feel better!

Today Greg and I took Jack for our weekly breakfast at Panera Bread. For those of you who have never had their breakfast sandwiches- you are really missing out. For about 2-3 months now we have been regular customers every Saturday morning around 8:30. Sometimes we even go on Sundays too right after our 8:00 church service. It is a great option for Kiddos because it is quick and you can eat outside. After breakfast we headed home for naps and then went downtown for lunch. We actually just ate at Jason's Deli (the perfect option in my opinion for kids as well bc again it is QUICK)- but we had a great time walking around and people watching. Then we came home and went to the park. Jack had a great time playing with our neighbors tennis ball and watching him play basketball there. He can't wait to join in! He walks right up in the middle of the game as if he can shoot a few hoops. We have really enjoyed quality family time since Daddy has been home. Tomorrow we plan to get some yard work done. The pictures above are from today and also a few from when Daddy was out of town and Jack wasn't feeling good. I bought him a "get well" present and he is opening his present in one above. He loves animals so it was a stuffed dog. You should have seen his face- he was so excited when he saw it but once he figured out it was not real the thrill was soon over. Although- it is soft so he enjoys cuddling it. Lately Jack's biggest attachment is his soft blanket. He smiles so big when you bring it out. I was very attached to my yellow blanket so he is taking after me except his is blue striped. We had a great day outside today- it was REALLY warm here. If weather permits tomorrow afternoon we may take him to walk in the fountains in Birkdale. If so- I will post pictures! Have a great weekend!
