Why is she trying to touch me?

This weekend we caught up on some family time. Saturday we ran errands for Greg. He needed to get some shopping done so we went along for fun. Jack was really good and he enjoyed smiling for all the strangers who came up to chat with him. Don't you think it is funny how random people will just walk up and start talking to your child? I guess I never thought about that before. We also stopped by Honey Baked Ham and ordered our turkey and ham for thanksgiving. (This is a traditional purchase around the Wilson household.) It looked so good- we can't wait! Aunt Meredith and Uncle Walt are coming to visit so we are really excited! Saturday night Grace came over to play with Jack. The pictures are priceless! They really didn't know what to think of each other when we sat them beside one another. Grace would reach out and touch Jack and then he would cry and then he would reach out and touch her and she would cry. The pictures are cute- if you look close there is one that shows her 2 teeth and Jack's... Grace's mommy and daddy came over so we got to spend time with them as well. We had a great evening. Sunday we took Jack outside because the weather was nice. He really enjoyed it. We also got some pictures of Jack with his "Caterspeller" that his Gambi sent him. He loved it! Thanks Mom! :)

Ok- So now to our weekend! Sarah came in town and what a great time we had! Jack took to her very quickly! I think it must have been the dimples! She has been here before of course but he is getting much more aware now. He just loved her! We had the best time! We went to lunch and ran errands on Saturday. Saturday night we went and ate sushi while Greg watched Jack Man. When we got back we got to hang out with him and give him a bath. Sunday Sarah and I took him to Birkdale and met Sara and Grace for lunch. The babies were great! Both took a little nap at one point. Sarah was a huge help! She insisted on folding all of our laundry and was so helpful when we ran errands all weekend! It is very hard to go grocery shopping by yourself with a baby so we made much better timing with Sarah. I took off a half day Monday but Monday morning Ms. Joy and Sarah watched Jack. They got to bond as well until I got off. When Sarah left we were all sad- even Greg! :) It was great to catch up and our weekend was just perfect. Come back Sarah! We miss you!!!!

We discovered this past weekend that now when we go to take a picture of Jack- HE SMILES! So funny! What almost 5 month old does that? It is so hilarious and to me one of the cutest things. We brought out his "Johnny Jumper" this morning that his Uncle Spencer and Aunt Lauren gave him and he loved it! Thanks again you two! He hasn't gotten down the concept yet of jumping but he thinks it is really neat to be able to stand alone and to spin and turn on by his own doings. He was smiling and posing for the camera in every shot I took! LOL We are hoping this toy will be one we can take everywhere! A quick little update on his teeth- the bottom two are not all the way in just yet but they are getting there. He has learned that the bite can be pretty sharp and so have I! He has been sleeping 8 and 9 hours at night now which is fantastic considering he is teething. The other pictures are from this past weekend when we had company and I was showing them how Jack seems to be "Johnny on the spot" when it comes to smiling. We will update with more pictures this weekend because Aunt Sarah is coming to visit again! We are so excited! She has not been here since Jack was 8 weeks old so he is really excited to hug her again and show off his new tricks. (As Greg and I call them.) He can now roll over from front to back and back to front and sit up for quite awhile. I just have been really bad about updating but he has been doing both of these for about 6 weeks pretty consistently. I will go into his crib and find him in all sorts of crazy positions! Anyway- We will post more later! Have a safe trip Sarah! :)

New Arrival!

4 1/2 Months old and we have 2 teeth coming in! We tried to take a picture but you have to look really close to see! Ms. Joy called me at work today to let me know she figured out why our little guy had not been sleeping or eating like very regularly... Teeth! Now we have the answers to our questions! Oh- I forgot to post after our last Dr.'s appt but Jack is over 18 pounds and getting very long! I will post later with exact amounts as they are downstairs. However- we are in the 97th percentile for height and weight and 50-75 percentile for our little head. :) We also have hazel eyes. Anyway- I know I have been bad about updating so here are a few pictures from the past two weeks as well. We have an eventful weekend planned so I will try and post again on Sunday.
