We went to the beach for a vacation at Ocean Isle. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time. The kids woke up every day at 6:00am and went nonstop in between naps until bedtime each night. Every morning we were the first people on the community playground. :) Mommy got her coffee at the local coffee shop so I was ok with the early hours. :) They have had a blast digging for shark teeth at the museum, playing at the beach, digging in the sand, playing in the ocean, chasing seagulls, playing tennis, swimming, and shopping. Jack said he could live here forever and I am pretty sure Claire would be content hanging out on the beach eating sand for the rest of her baby life. :) They have been perfect little travelers (once we got out of the car). On the way down Claire decided not to take a nap and cried most of the way while Jack figured out we would stop if he said he needed to go to the restroom so he gave us a few false alarms just to stretch his legs. The have been so much fun to watch and played so well together. They love playing with random families on the beach and have loved every minute of the vacation.
