Little Miss SunshineWell once again I am late on posting pics...To update you- Jack loved soccer. It is at an indoor arena and they mainly practice little drills. It is a parent/child session at this age- which is fun. Greg and I both go and they even let Claire run around with us. (She mainly picks up balls and throws them. She has attempted to kick them when she watches the others which is too cute.) Jack stayed so focused this past Saturday and kicked 5 balls into the goal. (Again this was not a game just a drill.) We were so proud. His favorite thing is drinking from the water fountain. LOL He listens well and thus far has participated in every drill. The first game someone picked up our keys and we were stranded in panic mode at the soccer field. Greg does not have a key to my car anymore and he had left his keys with the house key at home. WOW with Claire ready for nap and Jack ready for something new it was a long 45 minutes until the individual returned the keys. We had so many thoughts going on in our heads about what in the world we were going to do! Whew! Jack started back to school this week. (We had been gone for 5 weeks due to the holidays and then Dr.s orders after the hospital stay.) He fit right back in and has been loving every minute. He told me that a friend in class named Rachel was upset so he went over and patted her. He said he took his hands and wiped her tears and told her that she didn't need to cry because her Mommy would be back to get her. He makes my heart melt. He is such a caring little boy and extremely compassionate. His teachers told me he is the leader in the class and always makes sure everyone is following the rules. LOL! I said, "Ok so he is bossy like me?" They said he is not bc he is not ever rude about it he just helps gather everyone up and even tell the teachers what is supposed to happen next. Too funny. He is fun and conversation gets funnier and funnier every day. He and his little sister bear are the lights of my life. Claire is getting bigger by the minute. Her vocabulary is growing. She says Ball, Bite, MaMa, DaDa, Jack, Night Night, Bye Bye, Kitty, Elmo, Hello (with the phone motion up to her ear) and random words that she repeats when we say them. (I am not saying you can understand all these but we can.) She gives kisses and can blow kisses and she loves to dance and do spin arounds! She will turn on the CD player and start dancing. She loves to read books and can point out the puppy dog, Elmo, and sometimes the cat. She will tell you a Puppy dog says "Uh" "Uh" and she loves real animals. (Cats and Dogs)She gets into everything and by saying everything this is no exaggeration. Jack was never this bad about everything! She opens every drawer and can rip out or off anything with her teeth in seconds. She loves being tickled and will laugh so hard when you do. She walks with me into Jack's classroom and goes right up to the table and starts playing. The little 2 year olds love to touch her and kiss all over her. She just looks at them. She is still majorly attached to her paci and she loves her "B" just like Jack loves his. She is very good about naps and finally after the teeth finally came in is sleeping all night (12 hours). She is drinking half formula and half milk now and should be off formula in 2 weeks. She will be one next week! I can't believe it! More updates to come! XOXOXOX
