Well last week we went to the Doctor for Jack's 9 month check up. (We were about 2 weeks late.) No shots this time yeah! He is growing like a weed. He is in the 97th percentile for his height and weight. He is 30 1/2 inches in height and weighs 24 pounds and 12 ounces. His head is 46 1/2 cm around and in the percentile 75-90 percentile. He was so good for the doctor. He sat perfectly still while she checked his ears, eyes, nose, and mouth. She was surprised he already has 8 teeth. She also told us he is not eating enough solids. This was not a shocker to us as he has recently decided he is not that interested in them. She said he needs 3 meals and 2 snacks. I have just been trying to get them in him whenever he will let me! The only solid he actually really likes- are bananas. We are working on more. I feed him all kinds of things but the bananas he gets excited about. He still likes to sing and will join in at church with the congregation. He decided to chat during the sermon recently so we had to go into the family room so he could play. :) He went to his first birthday party this weekend for his little friend Grace. He loved playing with all the "Big" boys there and of course loved following Grace around and playing with her toys. She has a dog named Gerdie and Jack absolutely loves her! He just laughed and laughed the whole time. It has been rainy here so we didn't get to enjoy the weather or the park this weekend. Greg and I went to a party in the neighborhood Sat night and Miss Joy babysat Jack. He was really confused when he saw her before bedtime vs. in the morning. We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Here are some pictures of this past week.
